Let every prison door in your life be opened
Let me first start by telling you that, for you to be alive and sitting here today is a sign that God is doing something great in your lives. You might be asking yourself a question: When is God going to do a miracle in my life? Today I want to tell you that God has done the greatest miracle to all of you, and that miracle is for you to be alive.
When you are alive, there is hope. There is also a guarantee that God will continue to work in our lives, and bring more miracles. Even if God has not yet answered what you have been praying and hoping for, the reality is that He will always be there for you. God has promised in His Word that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). God will continue to be in your life and He will continue to work for you.
Today I want to tell you that God wants to do something new in your life. As we have gathered here in worship and prayer, I believe that every prison door that has been shut in your life will be opened. In Acts 16: 25, the Bible talks about Paul and Silas who were arrested and were imprisoned.
The Bible says they were put in the inner prison and their feet were fastened in stocks. Paul and Silas had just delivered a slave girl who was possessed with a spirit of divination. Instead of being acknowledged, they were thrown into prison. Some of you might feel that you are arrested and trapped. Maybe you have been arrested by the spirits of witches and wizards, but today I want to assure you that every door of your prison will be opened.
Some of you are the only ones who are saved in your families, and the devil is fighting you. The devil is unleashing attacks on your life because you have chosen to be saved, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Paul and Silas delivered that slave girl from the spirit of divination, and that was a good thing they did but instead of been treated well for what they have done, they were beaten and imprisoned.
It is the same with you who have received salvation in your lives. Instead of being acknowledged in your families, you receive insults and rejection and even the attacks from the enemy. But I want to assure you that you have made the greatest choice ever in your life. Your life will never be the same as you have given it to the owner of life, and that is Jesus Christ.
However, if you are saved and profess to be a Christian, you must serve God with all of your heart. You must be 100% Christian, and have Jesus dwelling in you. You should not only profess Jesus with your mouth, but you should also have Jesus in your heart. For you to see the manifestations of God, you need to have Jesus in you.
I know most of you are here for prophecy, healing, and for breakthrough. But I would like to ask a question: Do you have Jesus in your life? Have you accepted Him as the Lord and Savior of your life? Do you consider yourself a born-again Christian? You need to have Jesus in your life. As you confess Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life, let it also be so in your heart.
Some of you proclaim Jesus but there is actually the opposite in your heart. Instead of Jesus, there is a devil in your heart. That is why there is no healing or prosperity because the devil still reigns in your heart. The devil has taken so much from them, and God has taken little from them.
It is unfortunate that today we find Christians who do not even know Christ Jesus, but they are only after His prophecy. There are also fights and gossips in Churches today. The devil is not only working with people of the world, but he has also leapt into the houses of God. He is causing anger, fights, gossip, jealousy, malice and strife among Christians. This is happening because people in Churches today no longer prioritize Jesus in their lives. Jesus does not dwell in them.
I have seen other people who are professing Christ but they have other agendas in a Church. They are after positions and power and they can do anything (even ungodly things) to get positions. They can get to those positions, but when you look at how they got there, they have left people heartbroken and aggrieved.
I don’t want you to be caught up in that life my children. If you are here, let deliverance start in you. Release whatever that is not of God in you, and continue to fill yourself with Christ. Beware of people who have this manipulative spirit in Churches. These people can cause you to leave the Church because of their manipulative tendencies.
If you want to receive the blessings of God, know why you have chosen Christ Jesus. Know who you are in Christ. When you came here to this church, you did know anyone. Do not let yourself be influenced negatively by anyone. Do you have Jesus in you? Jesus says that when you take Him, you need to take Him completely.
Revelation 3:16 says “you must not be lukewarm, you must either be cold or hot.” There is no middle with Jesus. You either take Him completely with all of your heart, or you don’t. There is no love among the Christians today. As much as we say we are of love, do you love yourself? If you don’t love yourself, it would be impossible to love others. How do you love yourself? Fill yourself with Jesus.
The Bible in Matthew 22:37 says “Love the Lord with all of your heart, with all of your soul and with all of your mind”. Do not allow the demons to keep the doors of prison closed on you. God wants to open the doors which have imprisoned your life. Release yourself from anger, unhappiness and heartache. Stop pretending and tell Jesus what is in your heart.
Jesus looks in the heart. Therefore, let your hearts be pure. If you have anything against anyone – forgive that person truthfully. The Bible says “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). Get rid of spirit of anger. There are so many people who are possessed with this spirit, and it is not good for them. You need to practice forgiveness as Christians. People of the world forgive one another after they have wronged each other, but it is not the case among the Christians.
If someone has wronged you as a child of God, you know what to do. Speak and resolve the matter, and most importantly forgive one another. Acts12: 1-13 talks about James and Peter, who were arrested by King Herod. James was killed with a sword, and Peter was supposed to be killed the following day. But the Bible says “while he was in prison, constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church”.
Throughout the night, the brethren gathered together and prayed for Peter. You also need people who can pray for you in your life. You need people who can stand in the gap and pray for you. Peter was indeed rescued by an Angel of the Lord who guided him out of prison. You need people who can pray for you.
I declare that the doors of prison will be opened in your life. I am praying for you, and am standing in gap for you: Let every prison door be opened, in the Name of Jesus. As long there is a door of prison closed in your life, you will not be able to achieve the blessings from God. Yes, you will see them but you won’t be able to attain them.
The Bible says Peter was led out of prison with in his sleep. It was like a dream to him. Today, I am declaring to you to allow God to take you out of the prison. Isaiah 60:11 says “Your gates will be open day and night to let the rulers of nations lead their people to you with all their treasures.”
I declare that the gates will be opened in your lives. In Jesus Name.
