Give a seed that will open doors

We always say that blessed is the one who gives. Today I want you to understand the meaning of giving. I want to you to understand what it is to give joyfully unto the Lord. I want to explain to you the significance of giving your tithe and your first fruit.

First of all, giving your first fruit serves as a foundation for your finances. When you give your first fruit is like preparing the ground where you are going to receive your blessings. The first fruit ensures that your ground is fertile and is able to receive the showers of blessings from heaven. Therefore, the first fruit is your financial foundation and it is important to ensure that the ground for your blessing is prepared.

Secondly, a tithe is insurance for your wealth. When you pay your tithe, God ensures that you never lack. When you pay your tithe, God makes sure that you are able to make ends meet even in the midst of financial instability. In other words, your tithe is an umbrella that covers your finances.

Both these two forms of offerings, first fruit and a tithe, are essential in the life of a Christian. Let me repeat again, if you give your first fruit – the foundation for your blessings is prepared. When you give your tithe – you are covering whatever blessing you will be receiving from God. If you give the two, it will mean that you are covered in the ground and you are covered from above. Your wealth will be wholly covered.

However, it does not mean that you will be exempted from the attacks of the enemy on your finances. You will experience the attacks but God will ensure that you pull through and come out of the victorious. You will not understand how you have managed to pull through amidst of your financial attacks.

With those attacks, the devil will intend to hit with a fist, but because of your first fruit and tithe, that fist would be turned into a slap. Therefore, it is very much important to give your tithe. With those words, I am encouraging you to present your offering to God. The offerings that are able to attract God.

Please understand me correctly: Today, I want you to give with a full understanding that God whom your father Snr Prophet Rodney serves is a God who blesses with wealth. I want you to understand that your father Snr Prophet Rodney has been blessed with an anointing for wealth by God.

As you give, stir up this anointing of wealth that is upon your father, and let it also rest upon you. You can also tap into that anointing and attract it upon your lives, and the only way you can do that is by giving. It pains me to see you suffering, whereas you have the key to unlock your blessings from God. You have the key to open a door to your blessing – and that is by giving.

I am encouraging you to give, my children. Do not argue with the Holy Spirit. If He prompts you to give, please do so. I appeal to you to try the God whom your father, Snr Prophet Rodney, serves. Try this God and you will sing a new song in your life. You will see abundance in your life.

Let me remind you again, the Prophet of this House has been anointed with wealth. I am standing here, revealing to you that even other men of God come to him privately seeking the blessings of prosperity and wealth. And if the men of God who shepherd their own flocks, can come to the Prophet asking for blessings of prosperity and wealth, what about you?

What more about his children who are under his direct spiritual covering. You do not have to suffer, people of God. You have the anointing of wealth in this house, let it also work for you. Attract it to rest upon your lives – by giving. I want your giving to attract the wealth found in this house.

I also want you to open the door which the devil slammed in your face. I am encouraging you to try God of this house with your tithe. I know it might seem impossible for you to tithe because of your financial situation – but please give God a try, and see if He will not fulfil His promise. Try Him even in the midst of your lack, and see what happens.

I trust this God that we serve. He does not disappoint. He will never leave you nor forsake you. If you have never paid your tithe, today I am putting a challenge to you. Put our God to the test. Try Him as He has declared in His Word (Malachi 3: 10). He said “Bring all your tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And TRY me now on this.”

To those who do not pay their tithes because of their difficult financial situation, here is a call unto you: Try God. Bring your tithe into His house, and “see Him opening the windows of heaven and pouring out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
