God is turning your life around

As we are gathered here this morning, we are all going through various kinds of difficult situations. Some situations seem harder than others, but I want to tell you that you that you must not give up, no matter how difficult that situation is. God is using that very same situations to bring you closer to Him, it’s not there to destroy you. Your situation, your trial and your frustrations are the means which God uses to push you to your destiny.

In Acts 9, we read about a man named Saul. He was known to be the greatest persecutor of Christians, and all who were true followers of Jesus Christ. He would visit every city surrounding Jerusalem and would beat, incarcerate and even kill the Christians. One day when he was on his way to Damascus, to continue his mission of persecuting Christians, he had an encounter with the Lord and his life was turned around.

After Paul’s encounter with God, he became blind and could not see a thing, for 3 days he did not eat or drink. But, God sent a man named Ananias, who was also a follow of Jesus Christ, to go and pray for Saul so that he could regain his sight. God changed the name of Saul to Paul and he became the greatest Apostle who preached the Gospel and later wrote almost half of the New Testament. God changed the life of Saul dramatically to an extent that He used him mightily for His Kingdom.

It’s like many of you here, who are going through difficult situations, your situation may seem like the 3 days of blindness that Saul went through, your situation may cause you not to want to eat or drink, and you may be in a lot of different prayers. You may also be thinking that your situation is not changing. But I want to tell you that you need Ananias.

You need Ananias, who is sent by God specifically for you. Ananias will locate you in your home. Because God will give him your exact location and address. When Ananias arrives in your home, your life will be turned around. Yes, when Ananias locates you, you will begin to see, even your name will be changed. You will no longer be that person that used to beg, you will changed from beggar to blessed.

Child of God, I want you to hear me and understand me, in that situation that you are going through, I know it’s tough, I know it’s painful, but I want to tell you that don’t give up, because your Ananias is on his way. Just keep praying, as you pray, Your Ananias will locate you. The Bible tells us that when God sent Ananias to Saul, Saul was praying.

Do not stop praying, no matter what your situation is. Saul’s name was changed to Paul. He stopped serving the devil and started serving God. Even when he experienced hardships in his service to God, he did not give up, because his eyes were now opened, and he saw all his challenges with a spiritual eye. He became so close to God that he received the revelations from God even more that the twelve disciples who were walking with Jesus on during His earthly Ministry.

God will change your life so that you can also write a book about the situations you went through. Some of you are judged because of your situation, but you should know that God will use the same situation to become a light and to provide hope for people who are also going through the same situation you have been through.

The same situation you are going through has caused so many other people to become depressed or to literally lose their minds. But you are still in your right mind. There are people who went through the same situation as you and they eventually died. But you are still alive. This shows that your situation is a test, or a practical exam, not to harm you but to take you to the next level in life.

Allow God to change your life around. Do not be an obstacle or do not get stuck in your current situation of misery, but allow God to change your situation around. It might not be easy when this happens, but you need to allow God to change the situation. If God wants to bless you and take you to another level during this period of Yes, do not prevent it but allow it to happen.

As a child of God, don’t look at your situation from a natural point of view, but rather look at your situations and challenges using your spiritual eyes. If you look at your challenges through your spiritual eye, you will realise that the purpose of that situation or trial is to turn your life around. Yes even that sickness and that poverty, it’s not to destroy you, but it’s there to turn your life around. When doctors have written you off and declared you to be incurable, God can turn that sickness around. When they demote you at work, God is able to lift you up and put you in the highest position.

In Job 42: 12 – 17 says: “After Job had prayed for his three friends, the Lord made Job twice as rich as he had been before. Then Job gave a feast for his brothers and sisters and for his old friends. They expressed their sorrow for the suffering the Lord had brought on him, and they each gave Job some silver and a gold ring. The Lord now blessed Job more than ever; he gave him fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand pair of oxen, and a thousand donkeys. In addition to seven sons, Job had three daughters, whose names were Jemimah, Keziah, and Keren Happuch. They were the most beautiful women in that part of the world, and Job gave them shares of his property, along with their brothers. Job lived for another one hundred forty years—long enough to see his great-grandchildren have children of their own— and when he finally died, he was very old”.

The life of Job shows us that someone can go through difficult and painful challenges and still be a friend of God. Job faced various tough situations. He lost all of his children, he lost his possessions and his businesses. But after all that Job went through, God was able to change the situations. God blessed Job again with good health, more possessions that he had before, and he also had other children. The Bible says that Job had beautiful daughters in the area that he lived. There were no women as beautiful as Job’s. God restored everything that Job lost. God changed Job’s situation around.

I want to tell you child of God, that the same God who turned around the life of Job, will turn your life around. In those difficult situations you are in now, when God turns your life around, you will be blessed more than before. You will have what you never had. All you need to do is hold on, and never curse God.

To God be the Glory.
