Invite the presence of God with your giving

This weekend, the LCMN giving ministry went to Limpopo, to donate all the clothes that they have collected from the church. When I saw the joy with which the clothes were received, I was really touched. I thank God for making me a Life Changer, and I hope you also realise the impact of your giving to God’s people.

We took the clothes and visited 6 churches in Limpopo. We selected churches that really had a need. And all the clothes that we gave were received with joy. This was special to me because the people to whom we gave, are people who really needed the clothes. And when we give to a place where there is a need, lives are bound to be changed.

I want to say to each and every one of you who contributed to the giving ministry by clothes and groceries, that my God will meet you at the point of your need. You have touched lives and you have changed lives, and that is what God cherishes the most, because He Himself is a giver. I also want to say to those of you who have not yet taken part in the giving ministry, join hands with us and become a Life Changer. Whatever that you have at home that you have not worn over 3 months, clearly you don’t need it, yes you might want it, but there is someone who needs it. Bring it to the giving ministry so that many more lives can be changed.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank God for the heart of His Servant, Senior Prophet Rodney. This man really has a heart of love. When he sent out the giving ministry to Limpopo, he said “Go into the rural areas and touch the lives of pastors and servants of God”. And I realised that this act is for uniting servants of God. We all know that pastors do not love one another, they criticise and envy each other, but this Man of God saw the need to unite the servants of God and show them love. And I pray that God may give us all the same heart.

I also want to thank each and every one who brought non-perishable food items today, so that we can put together food parcels and give them to the needy before Christmas. Your gifts will change lives and God will reward you for that. It is such a blessing to know that as you are enjoying your good meal, you also made provision for someone else to enjoy a meal that they would not have had.

Now, to the offering message of today : In 1 Chronicles 13:13-14, the Bible tells us that the Ark of God was taken to the house of Obed Edom and it stayed there for a period of 3 months, and the Lord blessed Obed Edom, his family and everything that he owned. The Ark of God brought the presence of God into the house of Obed Edom.

Although he was a slave, the presence of God brought him and his family blessings. I want to tell you that we all need the presence of God in order to be blessed. Someone may ask how do I get the presence of God, well there are many ways, but today I want to tell you about giving as a way of inviting the presence of God in your life and in your family.

When you give what your heart treasures, you will invite the presence of God in your life. Give your wealth so that you invite the presence of God in your career and in your finances. When the presence of God enters in your life, it will change your history regardless of your background. The presence of Godwill change every area of your life. It does not matter where you are coming from.

God’s presence rewrites history. I am telling you that when the presence of God enters your life, it will not matter whether you are a slave or not. It will not matter what you did in the past, it will not matter what your situation is, your history and that of your family will be changed. People that used to know you in the past will wonder if you are the same person.

They will wonder how did you become so blessed. I want to tell you today to give a special offering and as you give, you will invite the presence of God into your life. We have all heard the testimonies of how people are blessed because of their giving and their tithing. They are testifying because when they gave, the presence of God came into their lives.

Give your best today and see the presence of God come into your life. See your life and your family being changed by the presence of God, see God make a way where there was no way, and see the goodness of God in the fullness of His presence.
