Get out of Luz and Go to Bethel

In Genesis 28:10 to 22, we read about Jacob’s journey to Beersheba. The Bible tells us that on the way Jacob took a stone, lay his head and fell asleep. In his sleep, Jacob saw the angels of God ascending and descending to heaven. Then he realised that the place that he was at, had the presence of God. This is why he called the place Bethel. Which means house of God.

This scripture just confirms a vison I had earlier today, I saw the Mighty hand of God above the whole church, and now I’m convinced that this is Bethel, the house of God. The Bible tells us that the place used to be called Luz, meaning a dry and barren place. Most of us are living in Luz, and we need to get to Bethel, so that we can see angels of God ascending and descending.

If you are in Luz, offer to God today, so that God can make a way for you to be in Bethel. Is your career in Luz? Are your finances tied up, you need the angels of God to ascend and descend on your finances. There is no other way of getting to Bethel other than giving. This is why Jacob says “ all that you give me, I will give you a tenth”.

As a child of God, when you give you acknowledge that all that you have comes from God. Paying your tithes shows that you believe that God is your source, and when you believe and acknowledge God as your source, you will see angels ascending and descending. You will experience the presence of God. When you have the presence of God, you will testify.

It doesn’t matter that people have already written you off, people have said you will never work or you will never testify, but I’m here to tell you that trough your giving, you can go from Luz to Bethel. When you give to God, you make a covenant with God, because Bethel is a place of the manifestation of God’s covenant. I say give and you will never lack.
