Have Faith

In Hebrews 11 the Bible teaches us the true meaning of faith. We need to have faith as children of God. The Bible teaches us that when we have faith, we are confident of what we hope for, we are assured of what we do not see. This means that when you want something as a child of God, you are hoping that you will get it. The moment you are sure that your hope will be fulfilled, then you have faith and you do not doubt God’s ability to give us what we want. This is why the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God.

When we pray, God answers us according to our faith. Faith is believing in the unseen. When you believe in the unseen, you are sure that God will answer you and you don’t complain, but you thank God because you know He is able to do what you have asked for. Many are suffering today because of lack of faith, many come to church and enjoy the presence of God, but when they get home they don’t feel the presence of God, not because it’s not there with them, but because they lack faith.

You need faith child of God, in everything that you are going through, you can get out if you have faith. When you need a job, and they require qualifications that you don’t have, you can get it if you have faith. You don’t need money to get out of your debts, but you need faith. For you to be who God says you are, you need faith, I’m standing here and preaching to you because of the faith that I have in God.

Faith causes those impossible situations to become possible situations. It was faith that raised Lazarus from the dead, that is why when Jesus got to Lazarus’ tomb he did not hesitate to call him out. Jesus had faith that Lazarus would hear him when he called. If you have faith, any dead situation in your life, can be resurrected in the Name of Jesus. If you have faith, you will see a change in your life.

In Matthew 21: 22 Jesus is telling us that whatever we ask for in prayer, if we believe, we will receive it. You need to believe God even when the situation is bad. If you are a business man and the economic environment is not good for business, and all businesses around you are failing, yours can succeed if you have faith. When poverty strikes the land, you can conquer it and live in abundance when you have faith.

In Luke 10: 17 we see the disciples rejoicing that demons submit to their authority, but they have been with Jesus, seeing him perform various kinds of miracles, meaning they did not believe until they saw the demons submit to them. This is why Jesus reminded that you have authority and power over the enemy. We are also given the same power, but it we do not have faith, we will not be able to exercise that power.

The fact that you have power does not mean that you will overcome, you need faith in order to activate that power. Many are afflicted by sicknesses, curses and various kinds of situations because their power is deactivated by their unbelief. The situations that you are facing today, you could have overcome them a long time ago, if only you had faith. Remember that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

We are going to pray and ask God to renew our faith. When our faith is renewed and active, we will live a life of victory.
