You need the Wisdom of God.

In Luke 19, we read about Zacchaeus the tax collector. We understand that he was rich and did not lack material things because he was a tax collector. But we also understand that he was a lonely man because people rejected him. They rejected him because he cheated them as he was collecting tax. Zacchaeus heard that Jesus is coming to town and he wanted to see Jesus, but he had another problem, his problem was that he was short and he would not be able to see Jesus because of the crowds.

Zacchaeus did not sit down and accept his limitation. His heart was yearning to see the Messiah, because he knew that from Jesus, he will find salvation. This is why Zacchaeus even decided to climb on a tree so that he can see Jesus. You can already imagine what the people were saying when they saw him climb the tree. They must have laughed at him and ridiculed him. They must have said to each other, what is that crook doing. But Zacchaeus wanted to see the Messiah, he was not going to allow anything to stop him.

Many of us are like Zacchaeus today, we are rejected by people everywhere, we are lonely and we need the love and comfort of Jesus Christ. Some of us are judged by people because of our background and our circumstances, we are being called names. The question is what are you going to do about that rejection? Are you going to allow your situation to determine who you are? Zacchaeus did not care about his situation, he just wanted the salvation of the Lord.

I’m here to tell you child of God that whatever trials that you have been going through, whatever your situation is, it is to bring you closer to God. God is here to rewrite the story of your life. All you need is the wisdom from God. The wisdom of God will help you overcome your situation. The wisdom of God will cause Jesus to see you from where you are.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus saw Zacchaeus on the tree, He called him to come down so that He can go dine with him. I tell you child of God, if you take that action of faith, God will bless you so much that people will start being jealous of you. When people saw that Jesus was going to Zacchaeus’s house, they started speaking amongst themselves that He is visiting a crook. But Zacchaeus did not worry, because he finally found the joy and peace that he has been looking for.

In 2 Chronicles 1:11 we see God blessing Solomon with great wealth because he asked for wisdom to rule God’s people. So today, whatever your situation is , you just need the wisdom of God. In all those interviews that you have been attending, in that marriages that is in a crisis, in those finances that are going down, you just need the wisdom of God. When you act out of the wisdom of God, God will bless you with a blessing that will cause you to forget the pain of the past reproach.

In Psalm 119:73 to 75, we hear the Psalmist crying to the Lord for understanding to know God’s commandments. We need wisdom more than ever before. When you have wisdom, you will be able to find solution for whatever your situation is. Every situation has a solution, just like every disease has medication. The medication for poverty, or to get wealth is that you need to be a giver. If you say I want spiritual growth, take the medication for it, which is more meditation on the Word of God and more prayer and fasting.

God is here to meet you at the point of your need, tell him what you want.
