OFFERING IN TRUTH

On Sunday the 26th April, Prophetess Tebogo taught us that when we give, we need to give in truth.

These are her words:

In Acts 5:1 to 11 we read about Ananias and Saphira, who sold a piece of land, and held some of the proceeds to themselves, and some they took to the apostles. Ananias and Saphira thought they were going to deceive the apostles but they in actual fact lied to the Holy Spirit. Because of this, they died.

Its like most of us, we consider our own needs 1st and think of God after we have pleased ourselves. We hold back what is due to God and cause death in our lives. It might not be physical death, but there will be death. Our careers will die, our marriages will die, our finances will die, because we are not honest in dealing with what God has given us.

God can never suffer because we did not give to Him, instead we are the ones who will suffer. We suffer because the spirit of Ananias and Saphira lives in us, that spirit causes us to lie in the house of God.

When we give we start looking at who will receive our offering, we think that we will enrich the servants of God, that is wrong! when you give, give from the heart and know that God has seen your gift and in due time He will reward you.

Today God is giving you the opportunity to revive yourself, if you have previously lied to God and to the Holy Spirit, today as you give in truth, God will revive you, God will revive your career, God will revive your marriage. As God revives you, refuse to die, by offering your full 10% and your appropriate offering. Do not cheat yourself by offering less than you should.

Don't loose the revival of your finances, give and let God work in your life. Giving is one of God's very important principles because it goes with love. You cannot give if you don't have love. When you love you will always see reason to give.

Don't let the spirit of wanting to understand stand before your blessings. The spirit of wanting to understand causes you to want to understand how God will multiply you. Its not for you to know how, but for you to know that He will indeed multiply you

Give in truth today and give accordingly, when you give half, you will receive half from God, but when you give fully, you will receive fully from the Lord.

Be honest with God in your finances, invest in heaven.
