Getting Through your Gethsemanes.
During the Easter service of 3rd April 2015, Prophetess Tebogo Sehlwane assisted by the Prophet/Translator, revealed deeper truths about the place Gethsemane.
These are her words:
In Matthew 26:36 to 39, we read about the prayer that Jesus offered in the garden of Gethsemane just before He was arrested. At this time Jesus was sorrowful and deeply distressed,so He prayed an unusual prayer. A prayer which revealed that His will struggled with the will of God, this is why He said "O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not as I will but as You will".
At this time Jesus was about to face death, not because He committed any sin, but because He carried the sins of the whole world on His shoulders, He was just about to die for the sins that you and me have committed. The will of God was that He die for us.
Even most of us today we find our will struggling with the will of God, it is not wrong, but we have to go to the garden and pray like Jesus prayed, we have to go to Gethsemane and say "Nevertheless not my will but Your will Lord."
In Luke 22: 44, we learn that Jesus prayed an earnest prayer to the point that His sweat became like great drops of blood. This is what needs to happen when our will struggles with the will of God, we need to pray earnestly. We also read that in Gethsemane, Jesus was in agony, but His prayer caused God to send angels that came and strengthened Him(Luke 22:43).
Gethsemane is a place that even us children of God go trough, its a place where we exchange our will for the will of God. Gethsemane is a place where we prepare ourselves for the cross...if we go to the cross without passing trough Gethsemane, we will not be able to carry our cross. In Gethsemane we find peace and accept the journey ahead of us. Its not a place to stay or a place where we die, but a place to pass through. In Gethsemane, our flesh dies and gives way to the Spirit of God and set our faith firmly on the Lord.
If you are going through Gethsemane, remember that you are not there to stay, but you are passing through. Remember that it shall all pass and you will be raised with Glory. When you are in Gethsemane remember the Lord Jesus. Remember how He was arrested, persecuted and killed, but rose again on the 3rd day. Remember how the angels rolled away the stones that had closed His tomb.
I want to tell you child of God, that as you go through Gethsemane, they may think they are killing you and putting you in a tomb, but an angel of The Lord shall come and roll away that stone. Even if your career or your marriage seems like its in a tomb, the angel of God shall come and roll away the stone.
In everything that you maybe going through, just continue crying out to God and humble yourself under His Mighty hand, and be sure that He shall exalt you in due time.
