1. The Bible tells us in 1Samuel 16:13 that when Samuel anointed David, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David from that day. From that day, all doors started opening for David. This is because anointing oil represents the power of God and brings about what God want you to be. We see David after being anointed conquering 10 thousands although he was not anointed to be a soldier, but he was anointed for every good thing.

Every time you are anointed, there is a shift in the spirit, this is a shift to bring you closer to your God given destiny. You just make sure that you grab that opportunity, the opportunity that comes with the anointing. Every time you receive the laying of hands in the church, you receive an anointing that breaks every yoke.

But sometimes you find that there is a delay in the manifestation of the power of God after receiving the anointing touch, the question is did you receive the anointing touch with faith? When you are anointed with the laying on of hands, the Spirit of God will immediately come upon you, but it depends on you, it’s all up to you to start walking in the power of the anointing that you have received. The truth remains that God will not anoint you for nothing.

2. When you receive the anointing water, how do you use it? Because others receive the anointing water and immediately testify, so if you do not testify start asking yourself how did you use the anointing water. You need to pray and ask God what you want Him to do for you as you administer the anointing water. As you pray, have faith and you will see the power of God.

3. I see people wearing different kinds of robes on their necks and hands, those robes that are associated with rituals and ancestral worship, they are against the will and Word of God. Why do you wear such things? those things will block your progress, they bring darkness upon your life. If you have any materials used for ancestral worship or given to you by witch doctors, at your house or on your body, you need to burn it and then come for prayer so that you can be separated from darkness. Darkness and light can never mix. If you are praying but still use those things, or are still keeping them in your house, you will not see the manifestation of the power of God. Do not give them to other people, how can you give people something that you know will not bless them? How can you give a curse to someone else? Burn them.

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit so do not decorate it with things that are against the Word of God and against His will for your life.
