LOVE, MARRIAGE and COURTSHIP

Its very important to tell your wife or partner how much you love them.If you dont someone else will do and that will destroy your relationship. What is a courtship? Its a promise of marriage and there are things that we are allowed to do, that are prohibited according to the word of the Lord.Courtship is a preparation for marriage. The bible speaks of Mary and Joseph who were in courtship and were not supposed to be intimate. When you are in courtship you are not allowed to have sex and even romance each other because if you do that will create a heart that will lead you to be exposed to the weakness of the flesh. If you are a sister and a brother is doing nothing to finalise your courtship then you are allowed to break the relationship. If you're a child of God you need to prevent putting yourself in a situation where you will be overcome by the flesh, so its wise to not sleep together to maintain our purity before the Lord in same bed. Luke 1:27-30 ; Matthew 18:25 1Corinthians7:36 How long is the courtship??There is no limit to a courtship but the sooner the better. Mary was engaged to Joseph and was chosen to be pregnant of the Holy Spirit . During this time she was engaged to Joseph and they weren't allowed to have intimacy.So her pregnancy is a sign of what a courtship should not have. You are allowed to merry and be blessed if you feel that you can't hold yourself from staying pure without going through courtship. In the courtship there is love.

MARRIAGE

Ephesians 5:26-33

1. Husband must love your wife. It means you will risk and give yourself without limits to protect your wife. We husbands must know that we have a first ministry that we should fulfil and that is marriage. Love your wife the same way you love your body Any sexual desires must be met accordingly Care for your wives needs accordingly When you're in a marriage there must not be an administrator in your marriage.

2. Husbands and wives do your duties and don't allow anyone to destroy your marriage Protect your husband and wife

3. Be considerate as you live with your wife with respect, and make them feel loved. In marriage we dont force but we agree. 1 Peter 3:7

4. Don't be rough with your wife and remember that she's a precious gift God has given you. Don't be harsh with your wife. Colossians 3:19

5. The husbands body belongs to your wife,same goes for the wife. Discuss with her about her needs and satisfy them fully 1Corinthians 7:3-4

6. Rejoice with your wife all your life...be forever in love with her and be satisfied with her Proverbs 5:18-19

7. Encourage your wife to be modest in public and to dress up with respect,you must be the only one who sees the secret parts of your wife's body. 1 Timothy 2:9

8. Don't be captivated by other women because you will start comparing and will lose value and respect with your wife Proverbs 5:20

9. Call your wife blessed and praise her, show praises with actions as well Proverbs 31:28-29

10. Tell your wife how great her body is, appreciate her shape and looks, Songs of Songs 4:7 Songs of Songs 7:1&8

11. Honour your marriage and shy away from any lusting spirit over other woman and men Hebrews 13:4 Matthew 5:28 Luke5:34

12.Just think of how lonely you will be without your wife (Proverbs 18:22)

13. Be one flesh with your wife Matthew 19:5 Long be intimate with your wife/husband, rush home from work just to see her,send her messages, spend time talking and sharing In marriage know your wife and know your husband!!!
